A CANOROUS QUINTET

A Canorous Quintet was founded in Stockholm in 1991 as A Canorous Quartet and developed into one of the most influential melodic death metal bands of the 1990s. With their debut EP “As Tears” (1995) and the albums “Silence of the World Beyond” (1996) and “The Only Pure Hate” (1998), they had a decisive influence on the sound of the genre. After their breakup in 1999, some members reunited under the name The Plague before returning in 2005 as This Ending. In 2016, they reformed again as A Canorous Quintet (since then, the two bands have existed in parallel) and released the live album “Alive From The World Beyond” in 2018 – high time to bring the band to Schlotheim, don't you think?!
