As soon as Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench take the stage at Party.San Metal Open Air 2026, a piece of death metal history will take center stage. Mastermind Martin Schirenc brings the classics of the cult band Pungent Stench back to the stage with the raw power and black humor that once made the Austrians' sound so special. Between dirty grooves, biting riffs, and macabre charm, it quickly becomes clear why these songs still enjoy cult status today. What makes it even more special is that this is one of the last performances of this project, which will disband by the end of the year at the latest—one of the few opportunities to experience this chapter of extreme metal history live once again.
